We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Symfony Developer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of hands-on experience with the Symfony framework and be capable of independently leading complex web development projects from concept to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project goals and translate them into actionable development plans.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using the Symfony PHP framework.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues during development, testing, and deployment phases.
- Work closely with both front-end and back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of components.
- Write and execute unit tests and ensure functionality meets both user and technical requirements.
- Ensure integrations with third-party services, APIs, and internal systems function reliably.
- Scale and refactor applications based on client feedback and evolving requirements.
- Maintain explicit documentation of development processes, changes, and progress reports.
- Maintain and update legacy code, ensuring modern best practices and standards.




- Present updates and completed work to clients and team in project meetings.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of experience in PHP development with at least 3+ years specifically in Symfony.
- Strong understanding of OOP principles, MVC architecture, and SOLID design patterns.
- Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Vue.js or React is a plus).
- Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git.
- Understanding of RESTful API development and integration.
- Experience with debugging tools and performance optimization techniques.
- Comfortable working in a remote, distributed environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present technical concepts

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Laravel (for occasional reporting or integration tasks).
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud environments.
- Exposure to Agile development practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology
