Job Summary

Ecopmin Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and result-oriented SMT Sales Engineer to develop recent business opportunities and manage existing customers in the SMT / EMS / Electronics Manufacturing industry.

The role involves selling SMT equipment, conveyors, solder paste, consumables, and related solutions. The candidate will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, generating new business, preparing quotations, conducting customer visits and presentations, and following up with customers from enquiry to order closure.

The ideal candidate should have 2 - 5 years of experience in SMT, EMS, PCB Assembly, Electronics Manufacturing, or Industrial Equipment Sales, along with strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and customer-handling skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop new customers and business opportunities in the SMT / EMS industry.
- Generate leads through cold calling, market research, networking, referrals, and customer visits.
- Identify potential customers, OEMs, EMS companies, and electronics manufacturing accounts.
- Visit customers and understand their technical and business requirements.
- Promote and present SMT equipment, conveyors, solder paste, consumables, and related solutions.
- Prepare quotations based on customer requirements.
- Follow up on enquiries, product trials, quotations, and orders.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, trials, and technical discussions.
- Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to provide suitable solutions.
- Support installations and technical evaluations when required.




- Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Track sales opportunities, pipeline, forecasts, collections, and CRM updates.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing.
- Convert leads and enquiries into orders.
- Identify opportunities for repeat business and customer retention.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in:

· SMT · EMS

· PCB Assembly

· Electronics Manufacturing

· Industrial Equipment Sales

- Good knowledge of SMT processes and equipment.
- Experience selling SMT equipment, conveyors, solder paste, consumables, or related products is preferred.
- Strong B2B Sales and Business Development experience.
- Experience in cold calling and lead generation.
- Good customer handling and relationship management skills.
- Strong negotiation and lead conversion skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand customer technical requirements.
- Experience in customer visits, product demonstrations, trials, or technical evaluations.
- Good follow-up and sales reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Willingness to travel extensively for customer and site visits.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.

Qualification

- Diploma / Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field.
