Position: Nesting & Programming Engineer
Location: Silvassa
Department: Production / Planning (CNC Cutting)
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical)
Experience: 2–5 Years
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month Key Responsibilities

- Create optimized nesting layouts using AutoCAD to maximize material utilization and minimize scrap.
- Generate CNC cutting programs using OmniWin software.
- Set appropriate cutting parameters based on plate thickness and material type.
- Supervise daily activities of machine operators and helpers.




- Raise material requisitions and coordinate with Stores for plate availability.
- Maintain accurate records of plate issues, consumption, and remnant stock using MS Excel.
- Track reusable remnant plates for future production.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production standards.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and OmniWin (ProNest knowledge will be an added advantage).
- Valuable working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of CNC plate cutting and nesting processes.
- Good team handling and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and effective inventory management.
