Role Description The Sr Manager/Manager Event Operations role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The role involves end-to-end planning and execution of events and activations, including concept development, vendor coordination, logistics management, and on-ground supervision.

The professional in this role will manage event operations timelines, ensure adherence to budgets, and maintain high standards of delivery and safety at all event venues. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams and clients, overseeing production and installation, resolving operational issues, and ensuring all brand guidelines and compliance requirements are met.



This role also requires maintaining clear documentation, post-event reports, and continuous improvement of processes to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Solid Operations Management skills, including process planning, resource allocation, and coordination of multiple projects.
- Proficiency in Event Planning and execution, covering logistics, vendor management, venue coordination, and on-site supervision.
- Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to collaborate with clients, partners, and internal teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Solid Budgeting and cost-control skills to plan, monitor, and optimize event-related expenses.
- Experience in event operations or experiential marketing, preferably in an agency or brand environment.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven conditions and handle multiple events simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, event management, or a related field; advanced certifications in event management are an advantage.
- Proficiency with basic office software and event/project management tools.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
