We are looking for a seasoned Accounts & GST qualified with deep expertise in handling complex GST matters.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the organization's end-to-end GST and indirect taxation function across multiple projects and group entities.
2. Handle complex GST matters relating to real estate transactions, construction contracts, works contracts, joint development arrangements, leasing and other business transactions.
3. Ensure timely and accurate filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C and other applicable GST returns.
4. Drive reconciliation of books of accounts, GST returns, GSTR-2B and Input Tax Credit (ITC) and resolve discrepancies.
5. Handle complex GST notices, assessments, audits, investigations, departmental queries and litigation matters.
6. Provide strategic advice to management on GST implications of new projects, transactions, contracts and business models.
7. Ensure effective management and optimization of Input Tax Credit (ITC) while maintaining complete statutory compliance.
8. Develop robust GST processes, SOPs,



internal controls and compliance mechanisms to minimize financial and regulatory risks.
9. Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, legal advisors and government authorities on taxation-related matters.
10. Lead and mentor the Accounts/GST team and provide periodic updates to senior management regarding compliance status, tax exposure, risks and litigation matters.

Candidate Profile
- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
- Experience: 1525+ years of relevant experience in Accounts, GST and Indirect Taxation.
- Proven expertise in handling complex GST issues, assessments, notices and litigation.
- Strong leadership, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP or Oracle will be preferred.
