You'll own the frontend architecture for our products — real-time dashboards, AI-driven interfaces, and customer-facing applications. We're looking for someone who treats the frontend as a system, not a layer of screens: someone who can build applications that look positive and hold up as they grow, and who has the technical weight to push backend teams toward the right contracts and architecture.

What you'll do

- Own frontend architecture end to end — structure, state management, component boundaries, build and release pipeline
- Balance design quality against maintainability, and make that trade-off deliberately rather than by default
- Design and consume APIs across REST, WebSockets, and gRPC; handle real-time and streaming data cleanly




- Partner with backend engineers on API and data-contract design — push back when the contract will make the frontend worse
- Set the standard for how frontend gets written here: reviews, patterns, typing discipline, testing, performance budgets
- Mentor engineers and prevent the kind of structural drift that turns a frontend into a maintenance problem

Must-have
- 5+ years frontend engineering, deep in React and Next.js
- Strong TypeScript and modern JavaScript
- Proven frontend architecture experience — state management, rendering strategy (SSR/SSG/CSR), code splitting, module boundaries
- Hands-on with real-time protocols: WebSockets, SSE, and ideally gRPC/gRPC-Web
- System design background — you can reason about the backend, not just call it
- Strong product and design sensibility; comfortable working from Figma and improving on it
- Performance discipline: bundle size, render cost, Core Web Vitals
- Opinionated about code quality and willing to hold the line in review
- Strong plus

Building interfaces on top of LLM or AI products — streaming responses, long-running jobs, agent UIs Data-dense UI: dashboards, analytics, real-time monitoring

Design systems and component libraries built for reuse

Testing at scale (Playwright, Vitest, RTL)

Backend or full-stack experience (Node, Python)

What we look for Someone who has seen a frontend codebase go wrong and knows exactly why it happened. Who cares as much about the shape of the code as the look of the screen, and who raises structural problems early instead of routing around them.
