Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and result-oriented Store Manager to lead the operations of our Jayanagar showroom. The role is responsible for driving store sales, managing profitability, leading the team, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering a premium customer experience aligned with our client

The ideal candidate should have strong retail leadership experience, knowledge of premium menswear, fabrics, tailoring, customer relationship management, and the ability to build a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations & Business Performance

- Manage complete store operations and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Take ownership of store sales targets, profitability, and P&L; performance.
- Analyse sales performance and implement action plans to achieve business goals.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, operational checklists, and brand standards.
- Maintain accurate store reports and provide regular performance updates to management.
- Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements.

Customer Experience & Relationship Management

- Ensure consistent delivery of premium customer service standards.
- Build strong relationships with customers and enhance customer loyalty.
- Handle customer feedback, escalations, and service recovery effectively.
- Ensure customers receive personalised styling, product recommendations, and seamless service.
- Support VIP, repeat, and institutional customer relationships.

Team Leadership & Development

- Lead, motivate, and develop store teams including Sales Consultants, CROs, Stylists, Cashiers, and Tailoring staff.
- Monitor employee productivity, performance, grooming, attendance, and discipline.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.
- Identify training requirements and nominate employees for development programs.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and reduce store-level attrition.




- Manage employee grievances and maintain a positive work culture.
- Ensure proper induction and training of new team members.

Sales, Product & Merchandise Management

- Drive achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
- Monitor customer buying patterns and provide feedback on merchandise requirements.
- Communicate product, fabric, style, and market trends to the Operations and Buying teams.
- Ensure strong product knowledge among the sales team.
- Support upselling, cross-selling, and customer conversion initiatives.

Inventory & Store Presentation

- Manage stock availability, inventory accuracy, and stock movement.
- Monitor stock ageing and ensure optimum stock utilisation.
- Ensure proper coordination between sales and inventory teams.
- Maintain premium visual merchandising standards as per brand guidelines.
- Ensure store ambience, cleanliness, and product presentation reflect luxury retail standards.

Tailoring Operations

- Ensure smooth functioning of the tailoring department.
- Monitor alteration and delivery timelines.
- Maintain quality standards in fittings, alterations, and final product delivery.
- Coordinate between customers, sales teams, and tailoring staff for seamless execution.

Requirements

- Qualification: Graduation / MBA
- Experience: 7–10 years in retail operations, preferably premium/luxury fashion, menswear, or lifestyle retail.
- Strong experience in managing store sales, P&L;, and team performance.
- Good understanding of fabrics, tailoring, menswear products, and luxury customer expectations.
- Experience in inventory management, visual merchandising, and retail analytics.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical ability with data-driven decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and retail reporting systems.
- Ability to manage diverse teams and work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Positive attitude, ownership mindset, and solid problem-solving ability.
