About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced SQL Server Developer – ETL with around 7 years of hands-on experience in database development, ETL processes, data integration, and performance optimization.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, ETL development, and experience working with large datasets and complex data transformation requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes for extracting, transforming, and loading data from multiple sources.
- Develop complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
- Design and develop ETL packages using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Perform data extraction from various sources including SQL databases, flat files, APIs, and other systems.
- Implement data transformation, cleansing, validation, and loading processes.
- Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, indexes, and database performance.
- Troubleshoot ETL failures, data quality issues, and production database problems.
- Monitor and maintain scheduled ETL jobs and data pipelines.
- Work with business and technical teams to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Perform data migration and integration activities across different systems.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, security, and integrity throughout ETL processes.
- Participate in database design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Prepare technical documentation for ETL workflows, database objects,



and data processes.

Required Skills
- 6–8 years of professional experience in SQL Server development, ETL, and database programming.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Excellent knowledge of T-SQL.
- Strong experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
- Experience developing complex ETL workflows and data pipelines.
- Good understanding of database design, normalization, indexing, and query optimization.
- Experience with SQL Server Agent and job scheduling.
- Strong understanding of data transformation, data cleansing, and data validation.
- Experience working with large-volume datasets.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Understanding of database performance tuning and optimization.
- Experience with source-control tools such as Git/TFS is preferred.

Good to Have
- Experience with SSRS and/or SSAS.
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF) or other cloud-based ETL tools.
- Exposure to Power BI and data visualization.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and star/snowflake schemas.
- Knowledge of Azure SQL Database or other Microsoft Azure data services.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
