About The Role

We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer with expertise in MSBI (SQL Server Integration Services, Reporting Services, and Analysis Services) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data systems that support our clients' business intelligence needs. Your primary focus will be on building efficient database structures, developing ETL processes, creating insightful reports, and designing OLAP cubes to facilitate high-performance data analysis.

The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, performance tuning, and data integrity principles. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex projects that directly impact strategic decision-making across various industries.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an SQL Developer, with a strong understanding of relational databases and T-SQL programming.
- Hands-on experience with MSBI stack, including SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
- Proficiency in Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and reports.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and OLAP cube development.
- Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop relational database schemas, stored procedures, views, and functions using T-SQL to support business requirements.
- Create, maintain, and optimize complex ETL packages using SSIS to extract data from various sources, transform it according to business logic, and load it into data warehouses.
- Develop and deploy paginated reports and interactive dashboards using SSRS and Power BI to facilitate decision-making across departments.
- Design and maintain multi-dimensional (MOLAP) and tabular models using SSAS to enable efficient data analysis.
- Monitor database performance, conduct query plan analysis, and implement indexing and partition strategies to optimize system efficiency.
- Implement data validation checks and error-handling routines to ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver scalable data solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in database development and business intelligence.
