About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with 6-7 years of hands-on experience to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of our core distributed backend systems. In this role, you will build high-throughput, low-latency microservices, optimize database performance, and ensure our infrastructure remains scalable, reliable, and secure as we grow.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architecture & System Design: Architect and deploy scalable, fault-tolerant backend services and APIs (REST / GraphQL / gRPC).
2. Performance & Reliability: Diagnose performance bottlenecks, optimize complex database queries, and maintain high system availability (99.9%+ uptime).
3. Technical Leadership: Mentor mid-level and junior engineers, establish coding standards, and lead technical design reviews.
4. Cloud Infrastructure: Own end-to-end containerized deployments using AWS/GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes within automated CI/CD pipelines.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:



Partner with product managers, frontend engineers, and DevOps teams to translate product requirements into robust technical implementations.

What We Are Looking For:
- 6-7 years of professional experience in backend software engineering.
- Deep expertise in Python, AWS, and SQL
- Strong knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB) databases, including query optimization and schema design.
- Demonstrated experience with microservices architecture, event-driven messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and distributed systems.
- Deep knowedge on public cloud providers (AWS / GCP / Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, system design patterns, and software testing practices (Unit, Integration, E2E).
