Hiring: Speech-Language Therapist / Speech-Language Specialist – Pediatric

About the Role
Sprouts Child Development Centre is looking for a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary pediatric team.
The role involves providing assessment and individualized therapy to children with speech, language, communication, and developmental needs.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
Provide one-on-one and small-group therapy sessions.
Work with children with speech delays, articulation difficulties, language disorders, fluency, and social communication needs.
Support feeding/swallowing concerns within the scope of practice.
Maintain clinical documentation and progress reports.
Provide parent counseling and home-based strategies.
Collaborate with OTs, PTs, Special Educators, Psychologists, and other professionals.
Qualifications
- BASLP / MASLP / Speech & Hearing / DHLS or relevant qualification.
Valid professional registration/licensure, as applicable.
Pediatric experience is preferred.
Strong communication, clinical, and parent-counseling skills.
Compassionate, patient, and child-centered approach.
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

About the Role
We are looking for a Speech-Language Therapist / Speech-Language Specialist who is passionate about working with children and supporting their communication and overall development.
The selected candidate will be responsible for assessing and providing individualized speech, language, and communication therapy to children with developmental and communication difficulties.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments using standardized and informal assessment tools.
- Identify and address speech, language, communication, and related developmental difficulties.
- Develop individualized therapy goals and intervention plans based on each child's needs.
- Provide one-on-one and small-group therapy sessions.
- Work with children presenting with speech sound disorders, language delays, articulation difficulties, fluency disorders, social communication difficulties, and other communication needs.
- Assess and support children with feeding and swallowing concerns, where within the therapist's scope of practice.
- Monitor children's progress and modify intervention plans as required.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, session notes, progress reports, and assessment records.
- Conduct regular parent/caregiver counseling and provide practical home-based strategies.
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Special Educators, Psychologists, and other professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in case discussions, parent meetings, and periodic progress reviews.
- Maintain professional, ethical, and child-centered standards of practice.
- Contribute to clinical learning, team discussions, program development, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology / Speech and Hearing / Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology, as applicable.
- Valid qualified registration/licensure as applicable.
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of speech, language, communication, and developmental disorders.
- Clinical experience in pediatric speech and language therapy will be preferred.
- Experience working with children with developmental delays, autism, learning difficulties, communication disorders, or other pediatric conditions is an advantage.
- Knowledge of feeding and swallowing assessment/management is desirable.
- Strong clinical reasoning and ability to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and parent-counseling skills.
- Ability to maintain clear and confidential clinical documentation.
- Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary pediatric team.
- A compassionate, patient, ethical, and child-centered approach to therapy.
- Willingness to learn, upskill, and participate in continuous professional development.
