Role Description The South Indian Cook role at Jyoti Placement Services is a full-time, in office position based in Hyderabad. The cook will be responsible for preparing a variety of authentic South Indian dishes, including breakfast items, curries, rice specialties, snacks, and accompaniments, while maintaining consistent taste and quality.

Daily tasks include planning menus, organizing ingredients, executing food preparation and cooking, and ensuring proper portioning and presentation. The role also involves following hygiene and safety standards, managing kitchen cleanliness, and coordinating with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service. The cook may be asked to adjust recipes based on dietary preferences and feedback, as well as assist with inventory checks and ordering kitchen supplies.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in South Indian cuisine preparation,



including knowledge of traditional recipes, spices, and cooking techniques.
- Candidates should possess skills in food hygiene, safety practices, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Candidates should possess skills in time management, menu planning, and handling multiple orders efficiently.
- Candidates should possess good interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and service teams.
- Prior experience as a South Indian Cook or in a similar role in restaurants, hotels, or catering services is highly beneficial.
- Ability to stand for long periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing customer needs is required.
