Position - Sourcing engineer - Sheet Metal Parts

Education - BE/B. Tech/Diploma /NTTF in Mechanical Engineering.

Location - Bashettihalli, Doddaballapur , Bangalore Rural

Note - Candidate should ready to relocate to the near location of Doddaballapur, Yelahanka,

Minimum 4 years of experience in the manufacturing of Sheet metal parts. Business development or sales experience is a robust advantage, particularly in the engineering or manufacturing domain

Responsible

Supplier Sourcing & Development:

- Identify, evaluate, and develop sheet metal parts based on technical capability, quality, cost, and delivery

performance.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing suppliers.
- Conduct supplier capability assessments and audits when required.
- Develop alternate sources to mitigate supply risks.

Technical Evaluation:

- Review engineering drawings and specifications to understand customer requirements.
- Select the appropriate metal process based on part geometry, material, quality, and production volume.
- Evaluate manufacturing feasibility with suppliers.
- Coordinate with engineering,



quality, and production teams to resolve technical issues.

Cost Estimation & Quotation Management

- Obtain quotations from suppliers and perform techno-commercial evaluations.
- Negotiate pricing, tooling costs, lead times, and payment terms.
- Prepare cost comparison sheets and recommend the most suitable supplier.
- Monitor market trends for raw materials and casting costs.

Project Coordination:

- Upon receipt of the customer order, organize and lead the Manufacturing Feasibility & Initial Review (MFIR) meeting

with the Cross-Functional Team (CFT) and the selected supplier.
- Share all technical and commercial assumptions considered during the costing and quotation stage to ensure

alignment before project execution.
- Introduce the supplier to the Cross-Functional Team, clearly defining the roles and responsibilities of each function

involved in the project.
