Software Tester

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Software Tester with 2 to 3 years of experience in manual testing to join our quality assurance team.

Responsibilities

- Test Planning & Execution: Review functional requirements and technical specifications to design, write, and execute comprehensive manual test cases.
- Defect Management: Identify, isolate, document, and track software defects using standard bug-tracking tools (such as Jira or Trello).
- Testing Types: Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and UI/UX testing across web and mobile platforms.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and UI/UX designers to troubleshoot issues and clarify requirement ambiguities.
- Build Verification: Conduct smoke and sanity testing for new builds and ensure stable releases into production environments.

Requirements

- Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing within an agile environment.
- QA Knowledge: Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), QA methodologies, and the defect life cycle.
- Technical Familiarity: Basic proficiency in writing SQL queries for backend data verification and experience using API testing tools like Postman.




- Attention to Detail: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a sharp eye for edge cases and user experience flaws.
- Communication: Robust written and verbal communication skills for effective team collaboration and reporting.

Reporting to: Project Manager

Remuneration: Rs 20,000 - Rs 25,000.00/month plus benefits

Joining timeline: Immediate to 30 days
