We are seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer with solid expertise in Manual Testing, Functional Testing, Software Testing

Life Cycle (STLC), API Testing using Postman, and SQL Server. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications by designing, executing, and managing comprehensive test strategies while collaborating closely with cross-functional.

Role & responsibilities

1.Analyze business and functional requirements to prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.

2.Execute functional, integration, regression, system, smoke, and sanity testing.

3.Participate in all phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

4.Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.

5.Perform API testing using Postman to validate RESTful web services.

6.Write and execute SQL queries in SQL Server to validate backend data and ensure data integrity.





7.Review requirements and provide early feedback to improve product quality.

8.Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and resolve issues.

9.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

10.Prepare test execution reports, defect metrics, and quality status updates.

11.Ensure testing activities are completed within project timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Preferred candidate profile

2 to 4 years experience (Maximum 5 years)

Mobile Testing Experience

Mobile Automation Experience

SQL/Database Testing Knowledge

Home Loan/BFSI Domain Expertise

Work From Office at Thane (Wagle Estate)

Proven experience in Functional Testing, API Testing, and Database Testing.
