Role Description The Software Developer will work full-time on-site at Greator Software’s Perambalur office, collaborating with the product and engineering teams to design, build, test, and maintain web and backend applications.

The role involves developing reliable and scalable software solutions for products such as DocQueue and other custom applications built for clients across different industries.

Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and testable code, implementing new features, fixing bugs, improving application performance, and maintaining existing systems.

The Software Developer will also participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, API integrations, database design, and application architecture. The role requires working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver solutions that are reliable, scalable, secure, and user-friendly.

The developer will also have opportunities to work with AI technologies, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI APIs, automation platforms, and modern AI development tools to build intelligent features and improve software development workflows.

The position also involves documenting code,



following software engineering best practices, collaborating with team members, and continuously improving development processes and tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain web and backend applications.
- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases and design efficient data models.
- Implement new features and enhancements based on business requirements.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs and technical issues.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams.
- Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Integrate third-party APIs, cloud services, messaging platforms, and other external services.
- Explore and implement AI-powered features using LLMs, AI APIs, automation tools, and other modern AI technologies.
- Use AI tools effectively for coding, debugging, research, documentation, testing, automation, and problem-solving.
- Write and maintain technical documentation.
- Follow Git-based collaborative development workflows.
- Continuously learn new technologies and contribute ideas to improve products and development processes.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Hands-on experience in software development and programming, with proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and the ability to design modular and maintainable systems.
- Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.




- Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and modern AI tools.
- Practical understanding of AI-powered applications, LLMs, AI APIs, or AI-assisted development workflows is preferred.
- Ability to effectively use AI tools to improve software development, debugging, automation, productivity, research, and problem-solving.
- Experience integrating AI capabilities into applications is an added advantage.
- Ability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot technical issues, and deliver solutions within agreed timelines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn, experiment with new technologies, and contribute in a fast-growing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with web technologies, cloud services, WhatsApp APIs, messaging platforms, or automation tools is an advantage.

- APIs & Integrations: REST APIs, WhatsApp APIs, payment gateways, third-party APIs
- Development Tools: Git, GitHub, VS Code, Postman
