Performance KPIs I would recommend making the JD KPI-driven, rather than simply listing duties:
KPI
Measurement
Work Quality
Defects/rework attributable to site execution
Schedule
Planned vs. actual progress
Labour Productivity
Output vs. manpower deployed
Material Control
Wastage and material reconciliation
Snag Closure
% snags closed within agreed timeline
Reporting
Accuracy and timeliness of daily reports
Safety
Site incidents / safety violations
Coordination
Resolution time for site issues
Most important: the supervisor should not merely be a person who watches labour. The role should be positioned as the owner of day-to-day site execution, with clear accountability for quality, progress and coordination.
