Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a SMA & Delinquency Manager based in Ranchi. The role involves monitoring Special Mention Accounts (SMA) and delinquent portfolios, analyzing trends in overdue accounts, and implementing strategies to reduce non-performing assets. The manager will coordinate with branch teams and collection staff to ensure timely follow-up, negotiate repayment plans with customers, and ensure adherence to internal risk and compliance guidelines.

Responsibilities also include preparing periodic reports,



maintaining accurate records, supporting audit requirements, and contributing to policy and process improvements in delinquency management. The role requires close collaboration with regional leadership to meet recovery targets while maintaining a customer-centric approach.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in credit risk assessment, portfolio analysis, and delinquency tracking.
- Candidates should possess skills in collections management, negotiation, and customer relationship handling.
- Candidates should possess skills in data analysis, use of MS Excel and reporting tools, and documentation management.
- Candidates should possess skills in compliance awareness, knowledge of banking regulations, and process adherence.
- Relevant experience in retail banking, microfinance, or asset recovery, preferably in SMA and delinquency management.
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work with cross-functional teams, and readiness to travel within the region as required.
- Proven ability to meet targets, make data-driven decisions, and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
