Education - BE / B Tech - Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation

Engineering.

Experience - 5-8 years in power plant construction sites.

Duration - 1 Year and extendable

Role Desription A Site Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I;) Engineer in a power plant ensures installation of control systems (DCS/PLC), field instruments, and electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Installation & Calibration: Perform installation of field instruments

(transmitters, positioners, gauges) and maintain control loops, valves, and actuators.
- Automation - DCS (Distributed Control System) and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, such as ABB or Siemens, to ensure correct installations
- Electrical Systems: Oversee HT/LT panels, switchgears,transformers, and motors, including troubleshooting
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all E&I; work meets safety regulations (e.g., NFPA,IEEE)



and maintain technical documentation.
- Team Supervision: Coordinate with contractors and technicians for Installation and commissioning activities.

Required Skills
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of process control loops, field instruments (pressure, temperature, flow), and electrical safety standards.
- Experience: Experience with DCS/PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens PCS7, Allen Bradley, Honeywell) and SCADA systems.
- Soft Skills: Robust problem-solving, analytical skills, and ability to work under pressure.Common Equipment Managed
- Instruments: Transmitters (Pressure/Flow/Level/Temp), Control Valves,Positioners, Analyzers, RTDs, Thermocouples.
- Electrical: Motors, Transformers, Switchgears, Variable Frequency Drives(VFDs).
- Controls: DCS, PLC, Safety Instrumented Systems
