HousyPoint Home Inspection helps homebuyers identify construction defects and quality issues before taking possession of their property through professional home inspections and detailed reporting.

About the Role-

We are looking for a Civil Engineer who can conduct professional home and property inspections, identify construction and finishing defects, prepare detailed inspection reports, and clearly explain technical findings to customers. The role involves visiting customer locations and inspecting residential properties during possession and handover.

Job Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed home inspections and property quality checks.
- Inspect civil works including walls, flooring, plaster, tiling, doors/windows, ceilings and other construction elements.
- Identify and document defects such as cracks, seepage, dampness, leakage, uneven surfaces and poor workmanship.
- Use inspection tools such as moisture meters, thermal cameras, laser tools and other relevant equipment.
- Perform quality checks of residential properties during possession and handover.
- Interact with customers and clearly explain inspection findings and technical observations.




- Prepare detailed inspection reports with photographs, observations and recommendations.
- Coordinate with the Operations team for scheduling and completion of inspections.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and update job status in the company system.
- Ensure inspections are conducted professionally and according to HousyPoint quality standards.
- Travel to customer locations for property inspections as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering – Mandatory.
- Valuable knowledge of civil construction, building quality and finishing works.
- Excellent communication skills in Hindi and English.
- Strong observation and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify construction defects and quality issues.
- Good report-writing and documentation skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Google Sheets, Excel and CRM/software tools.
- Professional customer-handling skills.
