Digital Covet is looking for a creative Short-Form Video Editor & Content Publisher who can turn raw footage, long-form videos, interviews, podcasts, YouTube videos, or other approved source material into engaging short-form videos.
This role is not limited to editing.
Creator Workflow: From Source Clip to Payout

1. Source Material (DC provided by Digital Covet)
2. Select Best Moment (CR)
3. Edit Short-Form Video (CR)
4. Submit for Approval (SH Creator submits, Digital Covet approves)
5. Publish (CR own / new / network account)
6. Share Link & Data (CR)
7. Verify Views (DC)
8. Calculate Payment on CPM (SH rate to be discussed)
9. Receive Payment (DC pays, Creator receives)
Important: This Is Not a Fixed-Salary Editing Role

This is not a conventional role where you are paid a fixed amount for every video you edit.
Your earning potential is connected to the performance of the content you publish.
Therefore, you should be comfortable with:
- Performance-based compensation
- Publishing content from your own account
- Building an audience/network
- Testing different content styles
- Working independently
- Taking responsibility for content performance
Who We Are Looking For You may be a good fit if you:
- Have experience editing Reels, Shorts or other short-form videos
- Understand what makes people stop scrolling
- Know how to create strong hooks
- Have a good understanding of short-form content
- Can identify valuable moments from long-form content
- Have strong editing judgement
- Understand subtitles, pacing and visual storytelling
- Are comfortable publishing content on social platforms
- Already have a social media presence or are willing to build one
- Can work independently without detailed instructions for every edit
- Are comfortable being paid based on content performance
Tools You can use whichever editing tools you are comfortable with.
Examples include
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- DaVinci Resolve
- CapCut
- Final Cut Pro
- VN
- Other qualified or suitable editing tools
The software matters less than the quality of the final output.
