Role Description The Shopify Developer will be responsible for building, configuring, and maintaining Jaipur Rugs’ Shopify-based e-commerce website as a full-time, on-site role located in Jaipur. Day-to-day tasks include developing custom themes and templates, optimizing site performance, implementing responsive design, and ensuring a seamless user experience across devices. The role involves integrating third-party apps and APIs, managing product catalogs and collections, and supporting merchandising and marketing teams with landing pages and promotional features.

The Shopify

Developer will troubleshoot technical issues,



maintain site security and stability, and collaborate with designers, content teams, and stakeholders to implement recent features aligned with brand and business goals. The individual will also contribute to continuous improvement of conversion rates, site usability, and overall online customer experience.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Shopify platform development, including theme customization, Liquid templating, and Shopify APIs.
- Front-end development skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design frameworks.
- Experience integrating third-party apps, payment gateways, shipping solutions, and other e-commerce tools.
- Understanding of SEO best practices, site performance optimization, and analytics-driven improvements.
- Ability to collaborate with design, marketing, and merchandising teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and structured development workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in e-commerce development, preferably within fashion, home décor, or related consumer brands.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to deliver quality work within deadlines.
