About the Role:

We are looking for a high-performing SEO Content Writer who can create content that doesn t just rank but genuinely helps students make better decisions.

The ideal candidate understands that SEO content today goes beyond inserting keywords. You should be able to combine strong research, search intent understanding, content strategy, subject-matter comprehension, and engaging writing to create content that performs across search engines and AI-powered discovery platforms.

You will work closely with the SEO, GEO/AEO, product, and subject matter expert teams to produce high-quality, accurate, and scalable content for the education space.

Key Responsibilities

- Research, write, edit, and optimise high-quality content for blogs, landing pages, exam pages, courses, universities, careers, and educational topics.
- Understand search intent and create content that directly answers users queries at different stages of their journey.
- Conduct in-depth research using credible and authoritative sources to ensure content accuracy.
- Create SEO-friendly content briefs and articles based on keyword research, SERP analysis, competitor research, and content gaps.
- Write content that is informative, structured, engaging, and easy to understand, even when covering complex educational topics.
- Optimise content for:
- Organic search rankings
- Featured snippets
- People Also Ask (PAA)
- AI Overviews and answer engines
- Generative search and AI discovery platforms
- Follow on-page SEO best practices, including keyword placement,



headings, internal linking, metadata, image optimisation, and content formatting.
- Refresh and optimise existing content to improve traffic, rankings, freshness, and conversions.
- Collaborate with SEO specialists, subject matter experts, designers, and editors.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice while adapting writing style for different audiences and educational categories.
- Ensure all content is original, factually accurate, plagiarism-free, and aligned with editorial guidelines.
- Stay updated with changes in Google Search, AI search, content trends, and the EdTech ecosystem.

Must-Have Skills 1-4 years of experience in content writing, preferably in SEO-driven content.

Experience writing for the EdTech, education, careers, exams, universities, or student-focused domains is highly preferred.

Excellent command of written English with strong grammar, clarity, and storytelling ability.

Internal linking

Ability to research unfamiliar and complex topics and simplify them for the target audience.

Ability to write both short-form and long-form content.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to factual accuracy.

Ability to work with deadlines and manage multiple content assignments simultaneously.

Good to Have

Experience using tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar platforms.

Understanding of how content can be structured for better visibility in AI-generated answers.





Experience working with subject matter experts.

Knowledge of competitive exams, higher education, admissions, career guidance, or the Indian education ecosystem.

Experience analysing content performance and using data to improve future content.
