Role Description The Senior Technical Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Salem, responsible for leading the design, implementation, and support of IoT-based industrial solutions. Day-to-day activities include architecting and deploying hardware and software systems, integrating sensors and devices with existing infrastructure, and troubleshooting technical issues in live environments.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop technical specifications, and ensure reliable data collection for process analytics, utility metering, and workforce monitoring.

The Senior Technical

Engineer will mentor junior engineers, participate in testing and validation of hardware, and contribute to continuous improvement of system performance,



security, and scalability. The position also requires preparing technical documentation, coordinating with clients during installations and upgrades, and supporting ongoing maintenance and enhancements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in embedded systems (STM32, ESP32, LoRaWAN, 4G Modules, Open CPU, Raspberry Pi, Python) IoT hardware integration, and sensor interfacing for industrial applications.
- Candidates should possess skills in networking, communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, Modbus, TCP/IP), and secure data transmission between devices and cloud platforms.
- Candidates should possess skills in software development or scripting (such as C/C++, Python, or similar languages) for device control, data processing, and automation workflows.
- Candidates should possess skills in data analytics, process monitoring, and interpreting metrics related to utility usage, production efficiency, and workforce performance.
- Candidates should possess skills in system troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and hands-on testing of hardware and firmware in industrial environments.
