Role

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager - Supply Chain & Distribution to manage and strengthen the end-to-end movement of finished products from our manufacturing facility to distributors, dealers and customers.

The role will be responsible for ensuring efficient logistics, timely deliveries, optimum inventory management and cost-effective distribution while supporting the companys growth across Odisha and other target markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the end-to-end supply chain and distribution of finished cattle feed products from the manufacturing plant to distributors, dealers and customers.
- Plan dispatches based on sales orders, inventory availability and market requirements.
- Coordinate with the Production, Sales and Stores teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
- Develop and manage relationships with transporters and logistics service providers.
- Negotiate freight rates and optimise transportation costs.
- Monitor vehicle availability, dispatch timelines and delivery performance.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to distributors and dealers.
- Monitor finished goods inventory at the plant and other storage locations.
- Develop efficient systems for stock planning, replenishment and inventory control.
- Monitor slow-moving inventory, stock ageing and product availability across the distribution network.
- Coordinate closely with the Sales team regarding distributor requirements, market demand and dispatch priorities.
- Monitor freight costs and identify opportunities for route optimisation and load efficiency.
- Ensure proper dispatch documentation and coordination with Accounts and Commercial teams.
- Prepare regular MIS covering dispatches, freight costs, delivery performance, inventory and pending orders.




- Support the development of a scalable and effective distribution network as the company expands into new markets.

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Commerce, Agriculture or a related discipline.
- MBA / PG Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Logistics will be an advantage.
- 58 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics or distribution management.
- Experience in cattle feed, poultry feed, animal nutrition, FMCG, agri-inputs, fertilizer or other high-volume distribution businesses will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of transportation, freight management and distribution operations.
- Experience in managing transporters, warehouses and logistics service providers.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Knowledge of Odia, Hindi and English will be an advantage.
