About the Role

We are looking for experienced Software Engineers III to join the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) Payments Technology team at JPMorgan Chase.

The successful candidates will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and supporting secure, scalable and reliable enterprise technology solutions.

The role requires strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Python, REST APIs, SQL, system design, CI/CD and enterprise AI-assisted software development.

Candidates must be comfortable using enterprise-authorized AI development tools to improve software development productivity while critically reviewing and validating AI-generated outputs for correctness, security, performance and reliability.

Mandatory Technical Requirements

All requirements below are mandatory. Candidates missing any mandatory criterion may be rejected without further review.

1. Software Engineering Education / Certification

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent engineering discipline from a recognized institution.
- Candidates with non-engineering qualifications must possess a recognized software engineering certification from organizations such as Oracle, AWS, Microsoft or equivalent.

1. Software Engineering Experience

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Experience must be gained in a large corporate / enterprise environment.
- Candidates must demonstrate project-level experience with specific employers, duration, responsibilities and technologies.

1. Python

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on production-grade Python development.
- Experience must include specific projects, use cases, frameworks and deployment scale.
- Experience with Python-based backend/API/application development is preferred.

1. Java

- Minimum 3 years of production-grade Java development.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Java 8 or above
- Spring Boot
- REST APIs
- Microservices / enterprise application development

Experience must be demonstrated at project level.
1. AI Frameworks & AI Development Tools

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on qualified experience with enterprise-authorized AI frameworks/tools.
- Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:
- GitHub Copilot
- Claude Code
- Cursor AI
- LangChain
- Spring AI
- Equivalent enterprise-authorized AI development tools/frameworks

Candidates must demonstrate practical use of AI for software engineering activities such as:
- Code generation
- Code refactoring
- Unit-test creation
- Troubleshooting
- Documentation
- Development productivity

Candidates must be able to critically evaluate,



validate and refine AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance and security.

1. System Design & Application Development

Hands-on experience with:
- System design
- Application architecture

Candidates should demonstrate actual project-level architecture/design contributions.
1. Database & SQL

Strong hands-on experience with:
- SQL

1. SDLC, Agile & CI/CD

Strong understanding and hands-on experience across the complete Software Development Life Cycle, including:

Experience with one or more of:
- Jenkins

- Be based in Noida or be willing to relocate to Noida.
- Have a confirmed relocation plan if currently outside Noida.

- Accept the $24/hour rate, which is strictly non-negotiable.
