Job Summary:

As a Senior R&D; Supply Analyst, you will independently lead supply planning, supplier qualification, procurement coordination, financial reporting, and regional import and export support for assigned R&D; sites or categories. You will provide subject matter expertise, resolve complex operational and compliance issues, lead cross functional improvements, and advise management on supplier performance, spending, risk, and service delivery.

Responsibilities:

Supply Management:

- Own supply planning and procurement coordination for assigned R&D; sites or categories, with a primary focus on engineering needs.
- Establish priorities and make independent decisions within approved policies, service expectations, and budgets.




- Collaborate with Lab Management to forecast demand, monitor inventory, and reduce supply disruptions.
- Serve as the primary contact for escalated supply, delivery, financial, and service issues.
- Lead complex initiatives involving Procurement, Quality, Finance, Legal, Trade Compliance, and R&D; stakeholders.

Documentation and Financial Tracking:

- Maintain complete, accurate, and audit ready procurement and financial records for assigned R&D; sites or categories.
- Reconcile invoices, track payments, resolve complex discrepancies, and oversee issue escalation.
- Develop supply forecasts, spending analyses, and recommendations for management.
- Own performance reporting that identifies supplier risks, service trends, savings opportunities, and operational improvements.

Process Improvement:

- Lead process improvement projects that strengthen cost control, compliance, delivery performance, and operational efficiency.
- Create and maintain procedures, controls, training materials, and standard work.
- Present recommendations, risks, and performance results to management.

Vendor Relationships:

- Own vendor qualification, due diligence, onboarding, and Approved Supplier List maintenance in accordance with company standards.
- Monitor supplier performance using quality, cost, delivery, and service measures.
- Lead supplier reviews, corrective actions, risk mitigation, and business continuity planning.
- Support negotiations, sourcing decisions,



and cost reduction strategies with Procurement and other stakeholders.

Import and Export Support:

- Provide subject matter expertise on regional import and export requirements and company standards.
- Lead resolution of complex customs clearance, tariff classification, valuation, country of origin, and documentation issues.
- Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, internal compliance teams, and local customs authorities to support timely product imports.
- Lead compliance assessments and maintain complete, accurate, and audit ready trade documentation.
- Monitor relevant regulatory changes and translate them into updated procedures and controls.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Seven or more years of progressive experience in supply chain operations, procurement, supplier qualification, vendor management, trade compliance, or a related field, including demonstrated ownership of complex supplier, customs, financial, and cross functional initiatives.

Skills and Competencies:

- Demonstrated ability to work independently, establish priorities, and make sound decisions within defined policies and budgets.
- Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical skills for forecasting, financial tracking, performance reporting, risk assessment, and issue resolution.
- Advanced working knowledge of supplier qualification and Approved Supplier List controls, along with regional import and export requirements, customs clearance, tariff classification, country of origin, valuation, and recordkeeping.
- Ability to lead projects, influence decisions without direct authority, and mentor junior analysts on complex work.
