We are looking for a motivated and experienced Purchase Engineer to manage procurement activities and ensure the timely availability of materials and services required for our projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end procurement and purchasing activities for engineering and project requirements.
- Source and identify reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and prepare comparative statements.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial terms with vendors.
- Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO).
- Coordinate with project, engineering, stores, and accounts departments for material requirements.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials as per project schedules.
- Maintain vendor records, purchase documentation, and procurement reports.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and pending materials.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, price, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure purchased materials meet required technical specifications and quality standards.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a solid vendor database.





Required Skills:
- Good knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes.
- Experience in vendor development and vendor management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of preparing comparative statements and Purchase Orders.
- Ability to understand technical specifications and material requirements.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple procurement requirements within deadlines.

Qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant Engineering field.
- MBA in Supply Chain / Materials Management will be an added advantage.

Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in Purchase / Procurement.
- Candidates with experience in Construction, Engineering, EPC, Manufacturing, or Industrial Projects will be preferred.

Job Location: Surat, Gujarat Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
