About The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer with robust expertise in enterprise-scale Business Intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in Power BI report development, advanced DAX, Power Query, data modeling, security implementation, and GitLab-based CI/CD deployment practices.

This role requires a professional who can build secure, scalable, high-performing BI solutions while collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Must Have Skills

- 6+ years of Power BI development experience
- Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
- Advanced DAX development and performance optimization
- Robust Power Query (M) programming
- Data Modeling using Star & Snowflake Schema

- SQL development experience
- Hands-on implementation of:

- Row Level Security (RLS)

- Object Level Security (OLS)

- RBAC
- Experience with GitLab version control
- CI/CD implementation for Power BI deployments
- Deployment Pipelines, Gateway Management and Workspace Administration
- Exposure to Tabular Editor and ALM Toolkit

- Strong stakeholder communication skills

Key Responsibilities





- Design and develop enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Create reusable and optimized DAX measures, KPIs, and calculations.
- Develop scalable Power Query transformations and ingestion pipelines.
- Build robust semantic models and dimensional data structures.
- Implement RLS, OLS, RBAC and data governance controls.
- Manage Power BI Service workspaces, gateways and deployment pipelines.
- Integrate GitLab-based source control and CI/CD processes into BI delivery.
- Optimize report performance using DAX Studio, VertiPaq Analyzer and best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate reporting requirements.
- Mentor junior developers and drive BI development standards.
