Job Purpose The Senior Operations Specialist – Liability Operations (F) is responsible for managing customer request processing and ensuring seamless coordination among internal stakeholders such as Branches and Relationship Managers. The role focuses on delivering efficient transaction processing, enhancing customer experience, and driving process improvements and automation.

As an individual contributor, the specialist also manages complex processes and digital initiatives within the Retail Liability Operations function.

Roles And Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage operational activities including transaction processing, account management, reconciliations, and customer service operations.
- Ensure efficient and compliant delivery of banking services in line with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Supervise, train, and mentor operational staff to maintain high performance and career development.
- Identify and implement process improvements, digitization, and automation initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Risk, Compliance, and IT to ensure operational alignment and seamless customer service.




- Act as a Level 3 or Super Checker for financial and critical transactions/service requests.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the managed operational area.
- Contribute individually to specialized activities and processes.
- Ensure compliance and resolve complex queries.
- Liaise with Product, Compliance, and other bank stakeholders.
- Act as the first-level escalation point for the sub-unit.
- Manage specialized activities such as testing and transaction monitoring.
- Strong understanding of banking operations and liability products.
- Proven ability to manage complex workflows and stakeholder coordination.
- Experience in process automation and digital transformation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and mentor teams effectively.

Educational Qualifications: Graduation: Bachelor of Commerce (B.com) / Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) / Bachelor of Arts (BA) / Bachelor of Business & Insurance (BBI) / Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) Post-Graduation: Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Master of Commerce (M.com) / Master of Arts (MA)

Experience 5 – 10 years of relevant experience
