About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Node.js Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, Microservices, API development, and cloud-native backend systems.

FinTech experience is a key requirement for this position. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working on Trading Platforms, Capital Markets, Stock Brokerage, Investment Banking, or FinTech products, particularly systems involving high-volume, secure, and real-time financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications using Node.js.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise-grade FinTech applications.
- Design and implement scalable and resilient microservices architectures.
- Develop backend systems supporting high-volume financial transactions and real-time processing.
- Optimize application performance, database queries, APIs, and backend processes for high-throughput transaction workloads.
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, and API security mechanisms.
- Develop and integrate real-time financial data and transaction services.
- Collaborate with Product, Frontend, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.
- Implement logging, monitoring, debugging, and performance-tuning practices.
- Follow secure coding, development, and deployment best practices.

Mandatory Skills & Experience





- 8-12 years of hands-on backend development experience.
- Relevant FinTech / Financial Services domain experience Key Requirement.
- Experience in Trading, Capital Markets, Stock Brokerage, Investment Banking, or FinTech products – Strongly Required.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Node.js and JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript.
- Proven experience building RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture.
- Experience with Express.js or NestJS.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Experience building systems handling high-volume / high-throughput transactions.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Solid knowledge of Git and modern software development practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with low-latency financial transaction systems.
- Knowledge of real-time market data, trading workflows, or brokerage systems.
- Experience with WebSockets and real-time data streaming.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms.
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Knowledge of GraphQL.
- Experience with financial APIs, payment systems, order management, or market data integrations.
