WE ARE HIRING | SENIOR MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEERS THE CAD COMPANY is seeking experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineers for a supporting a critical product development project.

Position: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Openings: 4

Work Mode: Onsite

Duration: 4 Months

Role & Responsibilities

- Mechanical product design and development using SolidWorks
- Development of detailed 3D models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings
- Application of DFM, DFA and DFX principles for high-volume production
- Design for injection molding, sheet metal, stamping, milling and turning
- Development of electromechanical products and assemblies
- Integration of mechanical, electrical and cable assembly requirements
- Collaboration across ECAD/MCAD interfaces
- Support for prototype development, testing and design verification
- Consideration of structural and thermal design requirements
- Engineering documentation, design revisions and release management
- Collaboration with manufacturing and cross-functional engineering teams

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering
- 6+ years of experience in mechanical product development

- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks
- Hands-on experience with EPDM / Engineering PDM systems




- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and DFM
- Experience in electromechanical product development
- Understanding of cable assemblies and ECAD/MCAD integration
- Experience with DFX for high-volume manufacturing
- Knowledge of prototype development and verification
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Mandatory Qualifications

Experience or exposure to

- Commercial & Industrial Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

- UL/IEC standards
- UL1741, UL9540 and UL9540A

- Structural and thermal analysis

- CAE / simulation tools
- High-volume product development and manufacturing

Candidate Profile We are looking for engineers with solid hands-on product development experience who can independently manage mechanical design activities and effectively collaborate with manufacturing and cross-functional engineering teams.
