Job Role - Owned Fleet Ops
Location- Gurgaon - Tauru
Preferred - Automobile Industry
Objective: To manage company-owned assets effectively, ensuring maximum vehicle uptime, driver efficiency, cost control, and compliance with transportation regulations.
Responsibilities
- Vehicle Maintenance & Safety: Supervise routine maintenance schedules, repair scheduling, and ensure vehicle safety compliance (fitness, P.U.C., insurance).
- Driver Management: Recruit, train, supervise,
and mentor drivers. Handle driver scheduling, route dispatching, and monitor driving habits for efficiency and safety.
- Asset Lifecycle Management: Manage the acquisition and disposal of company-owned assets, including vehicle remarketing for the best ROI.
- Cost Control & Reporting: Track fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and operational expenses to improve efficiency. Prepare KPI reports for senior management.
- Route Optimization: Utilize tracking systems (GPS/IoT) to plan productive routes, reduce idling time, and manage deliveries.
- Vendor Management: Negotiate with third-party workshops, spare parts vendors, and service providers to ensure quality work at competitive rates

6. Should be familiar with preventive maintenance procedures to upkeep fleet availability.
7. Should be Familiar with Workshop & Quality Management systems.
8. Should be familiar with parts indenting & warehouses management
Preferred : Should have a Mechanical Engineering degree with 8-10 years or an Engineering Diploma with 12+ years of experience in commercial vehicles.
