Job Title: Senior Safety Manager

Project Location: Thane, Mumbai

Experience Required: 15+ Years

Qualification: B.Tech (Any Specialization)

ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety) Mandatory (Recognized State Board Approved)

Project Experience Required : Roads Metro Projects Bridges Tunnels.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and enforce Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and procedures across the project.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory safety regulations, labour laws, and project specific safety requirements.
- Lead and manage the project safety team, including Safety Officers and Supervisors.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification.
- Prepare and implement Safety Management Plans (SMP), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Method Statements, and emergency response plans.
- Organize and conduct safety induction programs, toolbox talks, training sessions, and safety awareness campaigns.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases; conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective & preventive actions.
- Maintain all safety records,



statutory registers, permits, and MIS reports.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Subcontractors, and Client safety teams to ensure a safe working setting.
- Liaise with government authorities, safety auditors, and third-party agencies during inspections and audits.
- Promote a strong safety culture with the objective of zero accidents.

Key Skills & Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of construction safety standards and HSE regulations
- Experience in handling large-scale infrastructure projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills
- Expertise in accident investigation and safety compliance management
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and high-risk activities

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Minimum 15+ years of safety experience in Roads, Metros, Bridges & Tunnels projects
- Mandatory ADIS certification
- Exposure to coastal or marine-related infrastructure projects will be an added advantage
