Basant Autotech LLP is looking for a hands-on techno-managerial leader who can take ownership of a precision component from customer drawing/CAD model to a stable, capable and economically optimised production process.

This is not a routine production administration role.

We are looking for someone equally comfortable discussing a drawing, CAM/process plan, CNC machine, tooling/fixture, CMM report and PPAP/FAI documentation.

Key Responsibilities• Lead complete NPD & industrialisation — feasibility, process planning, machine selection, tooling, fixtures, trials, validation and production handover

- Manage and optimise CNC operations across Turning, VMC, HMC, VTL and complex multi-axis machining

• Guide simultaneous 5-axis machining, CAM prove-out, workholding, datum strategy, tool accessibility and collision avoidance

- Drive improvements in OEE, productive spindle hours, setup time, cycle time, tool life, tooling cost and rejection

• Own/guide PPAP & APQP activities including Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC and capability studies

- Lead structured problem solving using RCA, CAPA, 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone and Poka-Yoke

• Work closely with advanced metrology involving GD&T;, CMM inspection planning, datum alignment, profile/position tolerances and FAI





• Develop programmers, setters, operators and engineers through structured skill building and process standardisation

Preferred Technical ExposureStrong experience with complex precision-machined components, specially Aerospace/Energy Sector with tight GD&T; and multiple datum relationships is significant.

Exposure to impellers, diffusers, blades, housings, structural components, complex fixtures or similar 5-axis components will be a strong advantage.

Experience with Mazak, Okuma, DMG Mori or equivalent high-end CNC platforms is desirable.

Exposure to 5-axis CMM, REVO-type probing will be an added advantage.

Candidates from precision automotive, aerospace, gas turbine and high-end engineering manufacturing environments are particularly relevant.
