Senior Manager, Benefits India & APAC (FTE) (Hybrid, Pune or Bangalore, India) We are seeking a Senior Manager, Advantages India & APAC for our client, a leading global technology company. This role will own the strategy, governance, and execution of benefits programs across a 10-country APAC region. The main countries with employees are India, Singapore, Japan, and Korea.

The Senior Manager will serve as a regional benefits subject matter expert, lead a team of 2, and work closely with in-country teams, global Total Rewards stakeholders, and external vendors.

This is a full-time position with our client. It is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week onsite at the client s offices in either Pune or Bangalore, India. Standard working hours apply, with flexibility required for meetings with US-based stakeholders when needed.

Responsibilities APAC Benefits Strategy & Leadership

- Own APAC benefits strategy end-to-end across all 10 countries, setting priorities and work plans that reflect the region s diverse statutory and market requirements.
- Directly manage a team of 2 people, provide guidance, remove roadblocks, and review work against regional objectives.
- Stay hands-on where needed for complex, cross-market escalations, policy interpretation, and enrollment execution while trusting in-country leads, particularly the India team member, on day-to-day market ownership.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives such as plan redesign, wellness strategy, harmonization across markets, and M&A-driven; transitions.

Compliance & Program Management

- Ensure compliance with country-specific statutory requirements across the region, including India PF/ESI/Gratuity, Singapore CPF, Japan Health Insurance/Employees Pension, and Korea National Pension/Health Insurance.
- Partner closely with the India-specific team member on regulatory matters.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, Payroll,



and in-country HR to manage compliance, renewals, and audits.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex employee cases and policy questions that exceed team-level resolution.

Vendor & Financial Management

- Oversee vendor relationships and performance reviews across in-country brokers, insurers, and administrators.
- Develop and monitor regional benefits budgets, utilization trends, and cost-saving opportunities across all 10 markets.

Stakeholder Management

- Present regional program performance, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements

- 12+ years of progressive experience in employee benefits or Total Rewards within large global technology companies.
- Deep, hands-on APAC benefits experience, particularly across India, Singapore, Japan, and Korea.
- Proven experience managing and developing teams, including senior individual contributors, subject matter experts, or perks specialists, while remaining hands-on.
- Strong experience managing benefits vendors and brokers, including renewals, negotiations, vendor governance, and service-level management.
- Experience managing benefits budgets and using utilization, claims, cost, and market data to support business decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience partnering with global Total Rewards teams and senior leadership across regions and cultures.
- Experience with benefits plan redesign, harmonization, wellness initiatives, and M&A; transitions is preferred.
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required. Master s degree or MBA is welcome.
