Role: Lead Engineer- Instrumentation & Control
Educational Requirement: BE/B.Tech
Experience: 12+ Years
Roles & Responsibility:
- Lead instrumentation engineering activities across all project phases FEED, basic design, detailed engineering, and commissioning support.
- 1015 years of experience in instrumentation engineering, with at least 35 years in a lead role.
- Familiarity with international standards (ISA, IEC, ANSI, ATEX, SIL, API).
- Experience with instrumentation engineering tools/software (SPI/INtools, SmartPlant, AutoCAD, Aveva, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with control systems (DCS/PLC/SCADA/ESD/F&G;).
- Excellent leadership, communication,
and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects (small task-based and large-scale) simultaneously.
- Coordinate with Process, Electrical, Piping, Mechanical, and Civil/Structural disciplines for interface requirements.
- Review vendor drawings, datasheets, and technical documents, ensuring compliance with project needs.
- Mentor and guide a team of instrumentation engineers and designers.
- Lead site surveys, technical clarifications, and support installation/commissioning activities as needed.
- Plan, allocate, and manage instrumentation resources for task-based projects and large EPC assignments.
