Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Senior AIX Linux Systems Administrator to manage, support, and enhance enterprise-grade server infrastructure. Strong expertise in IBM AIX and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) is required. Manage mission-critical systems across physical, virtual, production, development, and disaster recovery environments.

Plan and execute firmware upgrades, OS upgrades, patching, and system maintenance across IBM Power Systems and Linux servers. Ensure high availability, business continuity, security, performance, and scalability of infrastructure. Work in a 24x7 high-availability environment, providing advanced troubleshooting and production support.

Drive operational excellence, automation, continuous improvement, and technical knowledge sharing within the team.

Responsibilities

- Manage mission-critical systems across physical, virtual, production, development, and disaster recovery environments.

- Perform system backup and recovery using mksysb and enterprise backup solutions such as Rubrik.

- Plan and execute firmware upgrades, OS upgrades, patching, and system maintenance across IBM Power Systems and Linux servers.

- Ensure high availability, business continuity, security, performance,



and scalability of infrastructure.

- Develop automation solutions using Bash, KSH, Python, Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.

- Work in a 24x7 high-availability workplace, providing advanced troubleshooting and production support.

- Drive operational excellence, automation, continuous improvement, and technical knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

- Strong expertise in IBM AIX and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

- Experience managing mission-critical systems across physical, virtual, production, development, and disaster recovery environments.

- Experience with system backup and recovery using mksysb and enterprise backup solutions such as Rubrik.
