Job Summary

Responsible for managing the University's hospitality operations, including hostels, guest house, housekeeping, facility management, and food & beverage services, ensuring high standards of service, hygiene, safety, and operational efficiency.

Role & responsibilities

1. Manage overall hospitality operations across the University campus and residential facilities.
2. Manage Guest House operations, room allocation, reservations, guest services, and VIP hospitality.
3. Lead housekeeping operations and maintain excellent cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
4. Manage cafeteria, mess, catering, pantry, and other Food & Beverage operations.
5. Ensure food quality, hygiene, service standards, menu planning, and cost control.
6. Coordinate with Facility Management, Engineering, Security, and Administration teams.
7. Monitor maintenance, utilities, pest control, waste management, laundry, and support services.
8. Lead hospitality, housekeeping, F&B;, and outsourced manpower teams effectively.
9. Manage vendors and contractors and ensure adherence to SLAs and quality standards.
10. Monitor inventory, linen, amenities, food supplies, equipment, and consumables.
11. Control operational costs,



minimize wastage, and optimize resource utilization.
12. Handle student, faculty, staff, parent, guest, and VIP concerns and ensure timely resolution.
13. Develop and implement SOPs, checklists, service standards, and quality-control processes.
14. Ensure compliance with food safety, fire safety, health, hygiene, and University policies.
15. Coordinate hospitality arrangements for conferences, seminars, convocations, admissions, and University events.
16. Robust leadership, communication, problem-solving, vendor-management, and stakeholder-management skills are essential.

Preferred candidate profile "

1. Qualification: Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Facility Management, or a related field.
2. Experience: 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in the Hotel, Hospitality, Facility Management, or Institutional sector.
3. Candidates from the Hotel/ Hospitality Industry with strong operational and team-management experience are preferred.
