We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior HR Manager with 5 to 8 years of core experience to oversee our end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, drive labor law and statutory compliance, and build robust corporate policies aligned with company law. In this role, you will lead talent acquisition strategies, safeguard the organization against legal exposure, maintain audit-ready statutory records, and shape HR policies that foster an ethical, high-performance work environment

Role & responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Strategic Sourcing

- Drive the end-to-end recruitment cycle across all departments, from headcount planning and drafting to sourcing, interviewing, negotiation, and onboarding.
- Build active talent pipelines using job portals (LinkedIn, Naukri, etc.), executive search, employee referrals, and specialized sourcing channels.
- Lead salary negotiations, candidate assessment frameworks, and offer rollouts to optimize offer acceptance rates.
- Monitor key recruitment metrics (Time-to-Hire, Cost-per-Hire, Quality of Hire, and Offer Acceptance Ratio).




- Coordinate smooth onboarding and induction experiences to ensure high candidate retention.

2. End-to-End Payroll Management & Compensation

- Manage full-cycle monthly payroll processing for all employees, ensuring 100% accuracy and timely disbursement.
- Collate, verify, and process attendance, leave records, overtime, variable pay, bonuses, reimbursements, and final settlement computations.
- Handle payroll tax computations (TDS on salary), Form 16 issuance, investment proof verification, and annual tax filings.
- Maintain and configure HRMS/payroll software platforms (e.g., Zoho People, Darwinbox, Keka, GreytHR, SAP SuccessFactors).
- Partner with Finance and Accounting teams for payroll reconciliations, bank transfers, general ledger postings, and payroll budgeting.

3. Statutory Compliance & Labor Law Management

- Ensure strict adherence to national, state, and local labor laws (PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labor Welfare Fund, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, Shops & Establishment Act, POSH, etc.).
- Oversee monthly statutory filings, challan generations (PF/ESI/PT), register maintenance, and vendor compliance checks.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external statutory authorities, legal consultants, tax auditors, and labor inspectors.




- Conduct periodic internal HR & payroll compliance audits to maintain zero-defect external compliance standards.

4. Company Law, HR Policy Drafting & Governance

- Design, update, and implement comprehensive HR policies, compensation structures, code of conduct, and employee handbooks in alignment with labor codes and corporate governance.
- Partner with legal and leadership teams to ensure company policies comply with regulatory governance, confidentiality agreements, and employment contracts.
- Establish transparent SOPs for disciplinary actions, grievance handling, performance management terminations, and exit procedures.
- Advise management on workplace risks, policy changes, legal consequences, and conflict resolution strategies..

Required Qualifications & Key Competencies

- Education: Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. MBA / Masters in Human Resource Management preferred.
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of proven HR experience, with at least 3 years directly handling statutory compliance and talent acquisition in a senior role.
- Recruitment Expertise: Demonstrated mastery of advanced sourcing techniques, candidate assessment, HRMS tools, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Compliance & Legal Knowledge: Deep working knowledge of labor statutes, employee perks regulations, dispute management, and employment law framework.
- Policy & Analytical Skills: Hands-on experience drafting legal-grade workplace policies, SLAs, and standard operating procedures.
- Tools: Proficiency in MS Excel, HRIS platforms, and digital statutory portals.
