Senior F&B; Service Associate

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and guest-focused Senior F&B; Service Associate to lead service delivery on the floor, mentor junior team members, and ensure every guest has an exceptional dining experience. This role combines hands-on service excellence with informal team leadership and operational responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver attentive, qualified, and personalized service to guests across the outlet(s)
- Take ownership of assigned sections, ensuring smooth table service, timely order taking, and accurate billing
- Guide, train, and mentor junior service associates and trainees on service standards and SOPs
- Handle guest queries, special requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary
- Ensure mise-en-place, table settings, and service areas meet brand and hygiene standards
- Have robust product knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, allergens, and beverage pairings, to make informed recommendations




- Assist with upselling food and beverage items to enhance guest experience and revenue
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
- Monitor stock levels of service essentials (linen, cutlery, glassware) and coordinate replenishment
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
- Step in to cover supervisory duties in the absence of the outlet manager

Requirements

- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in F&B; service, preferably in a hotel, fine-dining, or high-volume restaurant setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent grooming and presentation standards
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and billing procedures
