Responsibilities

- Specification, architectural design, and design of electronic circuits for automotive applications

- Accompanying development documentation

- Circuit validation through calculations and simulations

- Standard-compliant circuit design (eg. VDE) and component selection

- Commissioning and design validation

- Support of testing and qualification of hardware

- Implementation of FMEAs / FMEDAs

- Development and monitoring of schedules for hardware development

Requirements

- Completed engineering studies in the field of electrical or electronics engineering

- Experience in the development of electronics in the automotive sector under standard aspects

- Good knowledge on embedded electronics design and/ or power electronics circuit design





- Having knowledge on Electric vehicle power train architecture is an added advantage

- Good knowledge on microcontroller, power supply design, Analog and digital circuit design, Communication interfaces like CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI and Ethernet.

- Very valuable knowledge in the use of development tools (EDA software Mentor Graphics, measuring instruments, simulation tools P-SPICE, etc.)

- Knowledge of functional safety standard ISO26262

- Experience in project implementation in the automotive sector

- Business understanding and cost-oriented thinkingindependent, systematic, and analytical way of working
