Role Description The Senior Electrical Designer/MEPF Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The role involves leading electrical design for building projects, including low and medium voltage distribution, lighting layouts, panel schedules, and power system coordination.

The qualified will coordinate MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health Engineering, Fire systems) disciplines, ensuring integrated designs, clash-free models, and compliance with relevant codes and standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing drawings, specifications, load calculations, and reports, collaborating with architects,



structural engineers, and project managers, and supporting green building and energy-efficient design initiatives. The role also requires mentoring junior team members, participating in design reviews, and supporting site teams with technical clarifications during project execution.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering for building services projects.
- Strong understanding of Electricity fundamentals and practical application in building power infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Power Distribution systems, including LV/MV distribution, panel board design, and cable sizing.
- Knowledge of Power Systems analysis, short-circuit studies, protection coordination, and related design tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Experience in MEP/MEPF coordination for commercial, residential, or industrial buildings, preferably with green building projects.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar BIM tools, electrical design software).
- Familiarity with national and international electrical codes and standards (e.g., Indian Standards, NBC, IEC, NEC is an advantage).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and quality in documentation.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities, including coordination with multidisciplinary project teams and clients.
