Roles and Responsibilities:

- Own end-to-end infrastructure and deployment lifecycle for one or more products
- Design, build and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Azure
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Build, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters and deployments using Helm charts




- Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
- Ensure high system reliability, uptime, and performance through monitoring and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
- Perform infrastructure upgrades, patching, and cost optimization across environments
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure quick resolution with minimal downtime
- Manage secrets, access controls, and cloud security best practices (IAM, networking, encryption)
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to enable faster and safer releases
- Document infrastructure, processes, and best practices for scalability and maintainability

Desired Skills and Experience:

- 6+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering roles
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS (mandatory) and working knowledge of Azure
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Hands-on experience with Helm charts and microservices deployment
- Strong experience with Terraform (primary) and CloudFormation
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Good understanding of networking, load balancers, DNS, and cloud architecture
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus,



Grafana, ELK stack, etc.
- Proficiency in scripting (Bash / Python)
- Experience handling production systems and incident management
- Ability to independently manage and own infrastructure for a product

Competencies Required:

- Experience in multi-cloud environments,
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance (SOC2, etc.)
- Experience in high-scale or startup environments
- Exposure to cost optimization and FinOps practices

Interview Process:

- R1: Technical Screening With a Backend Engineer.
- R2: Hiring Manager With the Founder/CTO (can last up to 2 hours).
- R3: Final With the Co-founder/CEO.
