Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Data Engineer role based in Canada.

The Senior Data

Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support immigration consulting operations, performance monitoring, and business decision-making. The role involves developing and optimizing ETL processes, modeling and warehousing data from multiple internal and external sources, and ensuring high data quality and reliability.

Engineer will collaborate with analysts, operations teams, and leadership to deliver actionable data sets, dashboards, and reports that improve client service and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities also include maintaining data infrastructure, implementing best practices for security and compliance,



and mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in Data Engineering, including building and managing robust data pipelines and data integration workflows.
- Candidates should possess skills in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing to design structured, efficient data stores for reporting and analytics.
- Candidates should possess skills in Extract Transform Load (ETL) development, including transforming and consolidating data from diverse sources.
- Candidates should possess skills in Data Analytics, including querying, analyzing, and visualizing data to support business decisions.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering (such as Python or Java).
- Experience with modern data platforms and tools (e.g., cloud data services, distributed data processing frameworks) is highly beneficial.
- Background in designing secure and compliant data solutions, with attention to data governance and privacy.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and clear communication of technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
