Role Description :

The Senior Contracts Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. This role is responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial, corporate, and strategic contracts for domestic and international clients, including a top 50 Fortune 500 software company.

- Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing legal and commercial risks, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and aligning contract terms with clients’ business objectives.
- The Senior Contracts Manager will collaborate closely with partners, associates, and client teams, provide clear, practical contractual advice, and help design and implement contract management frameworks and templates.
- The role also involves supporting client relationship management through timely, high-quality delivery of contract-related services.
- Your job profile will also include compliance management and contract negotiations.
- Avid and impeccable drafting skills required.

Qualifications:

- Strong expertise in contract drafting, review, and negotiation, including commercial agreements, service contracts, and corporate documentation.
- Solid understanding of Indian contract and corporate laws, regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements relevant to cross-border and domestic transactions.
- Advanced analytical, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex legal issues into transparent, business-focused recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including precise legal writing, stakeholder communication, and the ability to work with cross-functional business teams.




- Experience in contract management processes, template development, and the use of document management or contract lifecycle tools is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage multiple matters simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
- Prior experience in a law firm or in-house legal department handling significant contract portfolios; exposure to global clients and corporate transactions is an advantage.
- Master’s degree in law (LL.M) or bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B) from a recognized institution; additional certifications in contract management or corporate law are a plus.
