Role Description The Senior Consultant — Obstetrics & Gynaecology will provide comprehensive clinical care, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal management for diverse and high-risk pregnancies.

Responsibilities include performing obstetric and gynecologic procedures, such as cesarean sections, laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries, and managing gynecologic conditions including PCOS, menopausal issues, and reproductive health concerns. The role involves supervising and mentoring junior doctors and clinical staff, participating in multidisciplinary case discussions, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and patient safety standards. The consultant will collaborate closely with neonatology, IVF, fetal medicine,



and anesthesia teams to deliver coordinated care, including painless deliveries and complex cases.

This is a full-time, in office role based at the Dwarka center.

Qualifications

- Advanced clinical expertise in obstetrics, gynecology, and management of high-risk pregnancies, including competency in emergency obstetric care and labor room management.
- Proficiency in operative obstetrics and gynecologic surgery, including cesarean sections, laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures, and postoperative care.
- Experience in reproductive health and fertility-related care, with ability to collaborate effectively with IVF and infertility teams.
- Strong skills in clinical decision-making, patient counseling, and communication, with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, and mentor medical and nursing staff, and to work within multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) with postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (MD/MS/DNB or equivalent) and valid registration with the appropriate medical council.
- Significant post-qualification experience as a consultant or senior specialist in obstetrics and gynecology, preferably in tertiary care or high-volume maternity centers.
