PW Digital University (PWDU) is an upcoming digital-first university to be established under the Punjab Private Digital Open Universities Policy, 2026, drawing on the technology and academic delivery expertise of PhysicsWallah's broader digital learning ecosystem.

Role Overview

/n

PWDU is seeking Assistant Professors to drive academic content development and curriculum delivery for its degree programmes, working within a technology-enabled, UGC-compliant Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online Education framework.

/n

Key Responsibilities

/n

/n
- Develop and update course curriculum, SLM/e-content, and learning resources.
/n
- Coordinate course delivery through the LMS.
/n
- Conduct and monitor continuous assessments and examinations.
/n
- Moderate discussion forums and provide academic support to learners.
/n
- Coordinate with Course Mentors and other faculty for effective course delivery.
/n
- Ensure quality,



originality, and regulatory compliance of course content.
/n
- Maintain course records and recommend improvements based on learner feedback.
/n
- Develop, review, and maintain high-quality Self-Learning Materials (SLMs), video content, and assessments in line with UGC ODL and Online Regulations
/n
- Ensure academic rigor and pedagogical quality across assigned subject areas
/n
- Contribute to curriculum design, academic calendars, and departmental academic processes as per NEP-2020
/n
- Conduct live classes for assigned courses, resolve students' queries
/n

/n

Eligibility per UGC norms

/n

/n
- Assistant Professor in the relevant discipline as per UGC norms.
/n
- A PG Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) and a Ph.D. Degree or
/n
- A PG degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) and qualification in the National Eligibility Test (NET /SLET/SET) or
/n
- A PG degre
