Harji Housing & Infrastructures Pvt Ltd is a growing construction company involved primarily in residential construction and commercial building projects. We are looking for an experienced and responsible Civil Engineer who can independently manage site activities, coordinate with supervisors and contractors, monitor progress, and ensure that projects are completed according to quality, schedule, and cost requirements.

Job Responsibilities The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing civil construction activities across multiple sites, including:

- Supervise and monitor day-to-day construction activities at residential and commercial project sites.
- Prepare BOQs (Bills of Quantities) for various civil construction works.
- Calculate and verify quantities of materials, concrete, steel, masonry, plaster, flooring, and other construction items.
- Prepare and maintain work schedules and project timelines.
- Track project progress against planned schedules and identify delays or issues.
- Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) for all active construction sites.
- Monitor and coordinate the work of site supervisors, contractors, and workers.
- Ensure that construction work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, approved methods, and required quality standards.
- Check measurements and quantities of completed work.




- Coordinate material requirements with site supervisors and ensure timely availability of materials.
- Monitor material usage and minimize unnecessary wastage.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders when required.
- Identify site issues and provide practical solutions to keep work progressing.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure proper execution of civil works.
- Review site requirements and provide regular updates to management.
- Maintain proper documentation, measurements, progress records, and site reports.
- Visit and monitor multiple project sites as required.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in civil construction.
- Strong experience in residential construction and commercial building projects.
- Good practical knowledge of RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, finishing, and other civil construction activities.
- Strong understanding of construction quantities and measurements.
- Proven ability to prepare BOQs, quantity calculations, and work schedules.
- Experience in preparing Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) and monitoring project progress.
- Experience managing and coordinating site supervisors, contractors,



and workers.
- Ability to independently monitor multiple construction sites.
- Good knowledge of construction drawings and the ability to understand and interpret them.
- Strong planning, coordination, problem-solving, and site-management skills.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other construction/project management software is preferred.

Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is hands-on, responsible, and experienced in actual construction site management, rather than someone with only theoretical knowledge.

The ideal candidate should be able to independently understand what is happening at a construction site, calculate quantities, plan upcoming work, identify problems, coordinate supervisors and contractors, and provide management with clear and accurate daily progress updates.
