Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Senior Chemist with 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical quality control and analytical testing. The candidate will be responsible for performing chemical analysis, ensuring compliance with GMP requirements, and maintaining accurate laboratory documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples.
- Handle routine analytical testing using HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, pH meter, dissolution and related instruments .
- Prepare and standardize reagents, solutions, and reference standards.
- Review analytical results and ensure compliance with approved specifications.
- Perform instrument calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Investigate OOS/OOT results and support laboratory investigations.
- Prepare and maintain analytical worksheets, logbooks, SOPs, and other QC documentation.
- Follow GMP, GLP, data integrity, and safety requirements .
- Participate in method validation, method verification,



and analytical method transfer activities.
- Coordinate with QA, Production, R&D;, and other departments as required.
- Train junior chemists and ensure adherence to laboratory procedures.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical analytical chemistry.
- Hands-on experience with HPLC/GC and other analytical instruments .
- Good understanding of GMP, GLP, OOS/OOT and data integrity .
- Knowledge of analytical method validation and stability studies.
- Positive documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to independently perform routine analysis and troubleshoot analytical issues.

Preferred Profile

- M.Sc. in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- 25 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in API or finished-product analysis is preferred.
- Candidates who can independently handle laboratory activities and documentation will be preferred.
